Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how our website at inklyai.info uses cookies and similar browser storage. The website is operated by TheLoop Holdings, LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). For how the Inkly app handles data, including Apple's App Tracking Transparency, see our Privacy Policy.
The short version
- Our website sets no cookies. It keeps a few small items in your browser's storage, listed below.
- Strictly necessary storage remembers your privacy choices.
- Anonymous statistics count visits without cookies or any ID in your browser. They never load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
- On the contact page, a log of page views and clicks keeps a random ID until you close the tab.
- Both are switched on until you switch them off. You can change this at any time.
- We run no advertising tags and set no advertising cookies.
1. Cookies and Browser Storage
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that let a website save small pieces of information on your device. This policy covers all of them. Our website itself sets no cookies; it uses local and session storage as described below.
2. Strictly Necessary
When you save your privacy choices, we store them so we don't ask again on every page and so the counters you switched off stay off. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice, so it can't be turned off.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
privacy-consent | Local storage | Whether you made a choice, and whether the contact page log is on (accepted) or off (declined). | Until you clear it or change your choice |
privacy-consent-date | Local storage | When you saved your choice. | Until you clear it or change your choice |
privacy-choices | Local storage | Records that you saved a separate choice for each counter. | Until you clear it |
umami.disabled | Local storage | Set only if you switch anonymous statistics off. The statistics script checks it before sending anything. | Until you clear it or switch statistics back on |
3. What Happens Before You Choose
On your first visit, a notice offers "Accept all" or "Confirm my choices". Until you choose, both counters below run, and both switches start on. "Confirm my choices" shows each switch so you can turn it off before you save.
- Anonymous statistics store nothing in your browser.
- The contact page log stores one random ID in session storage, only on the contact page.
- Your choice is stored only once you save it.
4. Anonymous Statistics
We count visits with Umami, open-source analytics software that we run on our own server. It sets no cookies and stores no ID in your browser. It records which pages are visited, the referring website, the browser and device type, an approximate location, and a fixed set of actions such as App Store link clicks. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what it records and how long we keep it.
5. Contact Page Log
On the contact page, we log page views and clicks in our own database.
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
analytics_session_id | Session storage | Inkly | A random ID for your visit to the contact page, so we can group page views and clicks from one tab. Created only while the log is on. | Until you close the browser tab |
Each event also includes the page address, the page that referred you, which button you clicked, and your browser's user agent. We use them to see how people reach us. We do not use them for advertising.
6. No Advertising Cookies
Our website does not run any advertising or cross-site tracking tags and does not set any advertising cookies. If we ever add them, they will load only after you turn them on, and we will list them here before they go live.
7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, our anonymous statistics don't load, and their switch shows as off. The contact page log doesn't respond to these signals; you can switch it off in Privacy choices. We also treat GPC as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information collected through that browser.
8. Changing Your Choice
You can change your choice at any time with "Privacy choices" in the website footer or the button below. You can also clear site data for inklyai.info in your browser settings, which removes your saved choice and the items above.
If you switch a counter off, it stops from then on. Data already collected is kept as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Fonts, Hosting, and Logs
- Fonts. We host our fonts ourselves, so loading our website does not send requests to Google Fonts.
- Hosting and logs. Our web server and hosting providers may record standard server logs, including IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested, and the time. Our database provider also processes your IP address when your browser sends a contact form message or a contact page log event. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working, and we typically keep them no more than 30 days.
- Links to other sites. When you follow a link to the App Store, Instagram, or another site, that site's own cookie and privacy policies apply. Apple describes its cookies at apple.com/privacy/use-of-cookies.
See Section 3 for what runs before you make a choice.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our website changes. We'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If we add a new category of cookies or storage that needs your consent, we'll ask first.
